Not that I was bored or trying to distract myself from doing proper work or anything, but I just looked up a couple of the first ever pieces I wrote for The Guardian when I was just a young writer in my early 20s getting started (see left for pic of what I looked like back then)

and posted them in the ‘Words’ section of this very site. One is about gangster movies, the other is an interview with the legendary Peter Farrelly. They’re alright I reckon.
